The interplay between clothing and architecture and the new forms of expression that result therefore inspired Clara Twele to seek for further parallels of the two disciplines, letting clothing and space become one. It becomes a habitat, a temporary retreat from the world as protection zone. But paradoxically, the security of such an individual sphere is only guaranteed through external contacts and social unions.
